Taking cleaning to new heights during a pandemic
After the pandemic hit, a majority of our customer’s employees were instructed to work remotely. Our experienced team worked tirelessly to give our customer a fresh start by completely sanitizing their infected office premises.
Challenge
As a multinational organization with corporate headquarters in Mumbai, our esteemed customer was ready to welcome a portion of its employees back in their office building. With near-constant foot traffic, an estimated 30% workforce was to rejoin the workplace while staying hesitant about the safety. The challenge for Hindustan Facilities was to thoroughly sanitize all five floors of the building with appropriate safety measures to ensure that the staff can return with confidence.
Solution
Equipped with the high-capacity vacuums and industry-grade steam disinfection machines, our team jumped into action to remove small particles of dirt and dust, after surveying the premises in and out. We made sure that every open surface is exposed to chemical disinfectants that are suitable for the material, whether it be metal, wood, plastic or ceramic. Our team chose to go with low-moisture carpet encapsulation method by following recommendations based on the fabric type, to remove spills and spots. By treating every corner with CDC-approved chemicals while being within the safety limits, our team was able to achieve 100% area coverage and sanitize over 14000 sq. ft.
Outcome
Our customer was able to a higher level of cleanliness while continuing to set up its office building for the return of their employees. All high-risk surfaces and fixtures were optimally treated using adequate personal protection equipment to eliminate risk of contamination. To build confidence among employees regarding the safety standards in the workplace, we also provided an SOP document to the customer that they printed and displayed in the common areas before reoccupying the premises. Hindustan Facilities team was able to complete the entire operation in a span of three short days, which was highly appreciated by the client team.
